MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 12.08 g, 12 h), 92-88. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, ΔΗ above monogram of ΠPY; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, serpent-entwined staff. Kleiner 31. SNG Paris 1726-7. Beautifully toned. Struck slightly off center and with minor scratches on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
